Before the client briefs, there was just the camera and whatever was worth pointing it at. This archive represents seven years of personal photography published on Unsplash and what started as a way to share work quietly became something that found its own audience.
44.5 million views. 311,000 downloads. Images downloaded natively by Notion, Sigma, Trello, Six and Unsplash themselves and picked up editorially by Yahoo Finance, Mailchimp, BuzzFeed, Prezi and Typeform, among others. None of that was planned. It happened because the images were useful, versatile, and built around a consistent eye rather than a trend.
It's worth being honest: this archive has been largely inactive for a while. Life and client work pulled focus elsewhere and style drastically changed. But the numbers speak to what's possible when a body of work is built patiently and with intention and it's a chapter that isn't finished.
