The Last One Ashore

Eight frames on the rocks of the Swedish west coast, made in wind that would not settle. A white shirt, a black skirt, and a length of blue and white silk that never stayed where it was put.

The series moves between colour and black and white depending on what the weather was doing. She is always on stone and always near the edge of the water. Some frames she meets the camera. In others she has already turned toward the sea.
